Class refunds
If you need to cancel enrollment, a full refund minus $30 processing fee is issued for enrollments canceled 2 weeks before start date.
Enrollments cancelled one week before the start date receive a 50% refund minus $30 processing fee.
No refunds can be made for enrollments cancelled less than one week before the start of a new class.
If your schedule changes and you want to switch to a different class running concurrently to the class you’re enrolled in, we will make every effort to do so.
We need 3 people to run a class. If less than 3 people have signed up, we will have to cancel. We will notify you one week before and let you know that the enrollment is low. If we can shift you to another time we will. If we need to cancel, you will receive a full refund.
Missed Classes
Once the class starts, if something comes up and you need to miss a week, please let us know as soon as possible. It is not possible to catch you up during the following class. You have three options.
If you let us know prior to the missed class, we can machine your parts for you during the class. You will miss learning some of the skills, but you can rejoin the class the following week. No stress, no additional cost.
Option 2 - If you’d like to learn the skills you missed, we can schedule a time to meet before the following class. You will machine all of your own parts. I charge $80/ hour for make up sessions (due at the time of scheduling) and can usually get you caught up in 2 hours.
Option 3 - We will machine your parts and you can come to the following class. If you want more info on anything you missed, we can cover briefly or in as much detail as you want at a later scheduled time. That time will be billed hourly.
If you are a no show for what ever reason and we have not heard from you, we will machine your parts. We want this to be a positive experience and keep you coming back! So don’t fret, we have your back!
Workshops-
No refunds on Build Your own Plywood Table workshops. However, you can transfer your registration to another person. Just let us know someone is coming in your place.
Full refunds for Build Your Own Solid Wood Table workshop enrollments cancelled one week before the event. Enrollments cancelled less than one week before the event can be transferred to another person, but not refunded.
Private Lessons-
Private lessons can be rescheduled with 24 hours notice.
With 12 - 24 hours notice, students forfeit half their scheduled time.
With less than 12 hours notice students forfeit their entire time.
Of course we understand that things come up and emergencies happen.
If you have an unusual situation, please let us know. Some instances merit an exception. However, last minute cancellations have a large impact on our schedule and finances, so we need to enforce this policy.
That said, if you don't feel good, please don't come. Let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to work with you.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are non refundable and non transferable, but good for one year after purchase.I’m grateful for your support and looking forward to hosting you here. In addition to learning some new skills, I hope you’ll find community, inspiration and transformation every time you’re here.
