MLW is a workspace hosting workshops, classes and private lessons for beginner to advanced woodworkers.
Classes are meticulously crafted to provide students with training in all aspects of furniture production. Class structure reflects the way our beloved neighborhood ateliers function today.
No experience is necessary for most classes. We use select hardwood lumber and furniture grade plywood.
Detailed instruction on safety and technique are provided on all machines.
Workshops
Learn some basics about joinery, clamping and finishing in a couple hours with your friends.
You’ll build your own small custom table out of pre-cut parts.
Classes
Classes are more in-depth courses in woodworking over a series of weeks to increase skills and knowledge. Students are guided through all machine set ups for safety and accuracy.
